Ternopil State University Master’s graduates received their diplomas

In late July, 21 Master’s students of Ternopil State Medical University have successfully completed their studies. Sixteen medical doctors were awarded the degree of Master of Medicine, and five, Master of Dentistry. Every one of the graduates has also earned diplomas with honors. TSMU website is the most popular among Ukrainian universities

Analytical resource Platfor.ma identified most popular websites of Ukrainian universities. Among dozens of sites included in the study, Ternopil State Medical University site took the first place as the most visited. TSMU students and guests from other countries spent eventful and fun week in International Summer Camp

Every July academic and recreational complex Chervona Kalyna of Ternopil State Medical University hosts an international summer camp for medical students. For several years now TSMU maintained cooperation ties with Canadian MacEwan University, and within this framework a number of important projects have already been implemented. New research laboratory at Ternopil State Medical University

Recently the assembly hall of Ternopil State Medical University became a stage for the culture and music event “A Man begins with kindness”. On July 17, 2017 Ternopil State Medical University held a press conference on a topical issue, the incidence of Lyme borreliosis and other infectious diseases transmitted by ticks in Ternopil region. On July 14, 2017 President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko officially opened a modern laboratory center at Ternopil University Hospital. TSMU staff delivered yet another humanitarian shipment form Canada to military hospitals

Former TSMU employees Bohdan Boichuk and Nadiia Arkhipova continue providing humanitarian medical assistance to Ukrainian hospitals. Today they live and work in Canada, but always keep in their thoughts those in need in their homeland. The most recent shipment of humanitarian aid they have sent contained medical supplies and was designated to the Lviv Military Hospital to cover the needs of its surgical and rehabilitation departments, as well as to the military unit A4615 hospital in Dnipro. TSMU professor studied work of simulation training centers abroad

Professor Arsen Hudyma, Head of TSMU Department of Disaster and Military Medicine, visited an international exhibition of simulation and simulation medicine which took place at the Centre Universitaire des Saints-Pères in Paris. TSMU has improved its national and international rankings

The international educational portal “4 International Colleges & Universities” (http://www.4icu.org/ua/) has unveiled this year’s ranking of institutions of higher education. Ternopil State Medical University named took the 7th place among 140 Ukrainian universities on the list, while placing the first among medical schools overseen by Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Last year our university took thirteenth place. Class of 1997 gift adorns TSMU courtyard

Recently Ternopil State Medical University class of 1997 held a reunion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their graduation. Thanking the Alma Mater, which this year celebrated its 60th anniversary, and its faculty and staff, the alumni presented a garden swing. Professor of our university and TSMU alumna Dr. Larysa Fedoniuk came up with the idea. The garden swing fits well with the overall design of administrative building courtyard. A team of Ternopil State Medical University doctors brought outpatient care to children in rural area

A team of pediatric doctors from Ternopil State Medical University have visited little patients in the village Uvysla. Assistant professors of pediatric diseases and pediatric surgery Tamara Vorontsova (team leader), Liubov Volianska, Vira Synytska, Pavlo Hoshchynskyi, assistant professor of otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology and neurosurgery Kateryna Aleksevych and neurologist Volodymyr Musienko examined the children and consulted their parents.
