A team of Ternopil State Medical University doctors brought outpatient care to children in rural area

A team of pediatric doctors from Ternopil State Medical University have visited little patients in the village Uvysla. Assistant professors of pediatric diseases and pediatric surgery Tamara Vorontsova (team leader), Liubov Volianska, Vira Synytska, Pavlo Hoshchynskyi, assistant professor of otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology and neurosurgery Kateryna Aleksevych and neurologist Volodymyr Musienko examined the children and consulted their parents. Traineeship of TSMU instructor at the Hematology Clinic of Wrocław Medical University

Cooperation between Ternopil State Medical University and Wrocław Medical University allows our university professors to train at the hospitals of the partner university. The most recent  training was a ten-day visit to the Clinic of Bone Marrow Transplantation, Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Przylądek Nadziei by TSMU instructor from the Department of Pediatrics  Natalia Luchyshyn. TSMU researchers started working on epidemiology, symptoms and prevention of Lyme borreliosis disease in different regions of Ukraine

On June 20-23, 2017, a group of researchers from Ternopil State Medical University Department of Infectious Diseases went on field trips to Zhytomyr region and Ternopil military unit В1428. TSMU department installed new teaching equipment

Department of Anatomy of Ternopil State Medical University recently installed two new interactive sensory screens for studying the human anatomy. During June 21-24, five Ternopil State Medical University researchers (Liudmyla Vronska, Maria Shanaida, Yulia Plaskonis, Anastasia Dub and Olesia Lynda) participated in the 5th International Conference and Workshop «Plant – the source of research material», taking place in Lublin, Poland. Academic Council of Ternopil State Medical University held diploma award ceremony for class 2017 graduates. It was TSMU’s 57th graduation ceremony of Doctors of Medicine, 12th graduation of Pharmacists, 8th graduation of Doctors of Dentistry, 2nd graduation of specialists in Human Health. Over 10 thousand hryvnas collected Polish students of Ternopil State Medical University. The money are earmarked for the treatment of 5 year-old Marichka Hvozdyska diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Dentistry students from Poland decided to help by collecting charity pledges form other students and Polish diaspora.
