TSMU scientists participated in the XVI Congress of the Polish Society of Experimental and Clinical Immunology

Scientists of Ternopil State Medical University associate professor the Department of Childhood Diseases and Pediatric Surgery Maria Kinash and assistant professor of pediatrics Natalia Haliyash on 8-10 June 2017 took part in the XVI Congress of the Polish Society of Experimental and Clinical Immunology in Warsaw. Ternopil State Medical University international students become involved in research

Recently TSMU Student Council initiated a workshop for international students to involve them in research. It was aimed to develop scientific capabilities of medical students and improve their professional skills. Ternopil State Medical University researchers won a grant for a project on primary immune deficiencies

Assistant professor of the Department of Internal Medicine Oksana Ruzhytska participated in Erasmus Mundus MEDEA (staff exchange) program from 16 October to 18 November 2016. She took an internship at the Cardiff Metropolitan University (United Kingdom ). International Conference of Young Researchers “Annual Young Medical Scientists’ Conference 2016” took place on 28-29 October at the Bohomolets National Medical University.  At this forum Ternopil State Medical University was represented by the IV year student of the medical faculty Ihor Stetsiuk. Scientists from Ternopil State Medical University participated in the XVII National Congress of Cardiologists of Ukraine

On September 21-23 in Kiev took place the XVII Congress of Cardiologists of Ukraine, which attracted more than 2,000 participants from Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, the UK and other countries. Ternopil State Medical University expands collaboration with clinical training centers in Poland

On September 16th representatives of the Polish company EMC Instytut Medyczny SA attended Ternopil State Medical University with working visit. Members of the delegation,  Head Project Manager Michal Kuhta and HR-manager Anna Keldanowicz met with the rector of TSMU, Professor Mykhailo Korda to discussed areas of cooperation.   The meeting resulted in a proposal to sign a number of agreements with Polish hospitals, which would serve as clinical sites where students of the University to go on internship and traineeship visits.
