The object of cultural studies is culture in general, which is usually understood as a set of material and spiritual values and a way of being and organizing a person`s life. However, because of many other definitions of culture, the object is not straightforward. The subject of cultural studies, a directly researched aspect of culture, is not clearly defined due to different approaches.
With a broad approach to complex science, cultural studies does not have its object of study, as it is an integral part of other disciplines. Accordingly, the history of culture, the ecology of culture, the psychology of culture to understand both the object of its study, and the cultural studies, etc., each of which has its own subjects.
Understanding cultural studies as an independent science, it emerges as a theory of culture based on generalizations from specific sciences. In this case, the subject of cultural studies is often determined by the formation and development of culture as inherent in the exclusively human way of life.
Subject: set of material and spiritual values that reflect the active creative activity of people in the development of the world, in the course of historical development of society.
