The subject of study of the selective discipline “Technology of Extemporaneous Medicinal and Cosmetic Preparations” is to get acquainted with the basics and features of the manufacture of cosmetic drugs in pharmacies, the principle of component selection, prescribing, author’s prescription technology, features of the use of natural raw materials in cosmetology and the application of methods of quality analyzes of cosmetic drugs.

The aim of teaching of selective discipline “Technology of Extemporaneous Medicinal and Cosmetic Preparations” is deepening of professional knowledge, acquaintance with theoretical and practical bases of technology of cosmetic drugs in pharmacy conditions, features of formulation and technology, quality control, rules of registration before dispensing, storage conditions and features of application.

The main tasks of selective discipline Technology of Extemporaneous Medicinal and Cosmetic Preparations” is mastering by students the theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and working knowledge of preparation of cosmetic medicines in the conditions of pharmacies, training of students of activity of a pharmacist-cosmetologist
