The purpose of studying the discipline is: assimilation of basic theoretical knowledge in the course of clinical pathophysiology, ability to identify the pathogenesis of the disease with its clinical and instrumental manifestations, understanding of the basic patterns of occurrence and course of pathological processes occurring in the body, the nature of the compensatory mechanisms in maintaining the organs.
