Dental implantation is the most functional and aesthetically effective method of replacing dental defects. It has become an integral part of modern dentistry in the issue of complete rehabilitation of dental patients.

The rapid development of modern dental science is mainly associated with the large number of patients who need replacement of defects and deformities of the dentition using the technique of dental implantation. In today’s conditions, the popularization of dental implantation is associated with the solution of many issues of rehabilitation of patients with dental status in difficult anatomical conditions, when other methods of replacing the integrity of the dentition are ineffective.

Implant prosthetics helps achieve the main goal of orthopedic dental treatment – the full restoration of masticatory function in patients with partial or complete absence of teeth. This improves the quality of life of the patient in both physiological and socio-psychological aspects.

Of great importance in the successful rehabilitation of patients with dental implants is the process of osseointegration and fibro-osteointegration, the doctor’s compliance with the protocol of surgical intervention and the correct selection of the orthopedic design at the final stages of treatment.

Only careful and full, comprehensive planning of the orthopedic stage of treatment can become a solid, predictable basis for the success of the rehabilitation of dental patients using dental implants.
