Aim of the medical informatics course:

• To determine information technology and personal computer application in medicine and nursing.
• To acquaint students with bases of modern computer information technologies, tendencies concerning their development, to learn principles of construction of information models, processing of medical images in professional work.

Formation of knowledge of students from bases of computer literacy and skills uses of programs of system purpose at the decision of medical problems.
