Students of Ternopil State Medical University participated the IX International Christian Medical Conference for Students

The IX International Christian Medical Students Conference (ICMA) took place in Vinnytsia on October 12-14, 2018 . This event was organized by the International Christian Medical Association in Ukraine (icmau.com). ICMA coordinators in Ternopil are TSMU students Idowu Gideon Oluwatobi, Bray Isaac, Agaren Daniel, Okoye Gloria, and Bakare Sandra. TSMU students collected funds to help children in need

On October 10, 2018 and on the occasion of the World Mental Health Day, students of Ternopil State Medical University Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, and Medical Psychology have carried out a number of events to raise funds to purchase of medicines for children-residents of the Care House in Chortkiv. The charity organization Care House was created in Chortkiv to address the problem of the lack of resources for social adaptation, development and rehabilitation of children with special needs. TSMU hosted the VI scientific symposium on Immunopathology of Diseases of the Respiratory and Digestive Organs

On September 24-27, 2018, Ternopil State Medical University hosted the VI scientific symposium Immunopathology of Diseases of the Respiratory and Digestive Organs. International Pulmonology School was carried out with the framework of the symposium featuring lectures by professors from Poland and Italy. Baltic University Programme is a network of about 230 universities and other institutes on higher learning in the countries of Baltic Sea region as well as countries near the basin, which are: Czech Republic, Norway, Slovakia and Ukraine. Ternopil State Medical University students received their student cards

At the end of August 2018 Ternopil State Medical University ordered redesigned state issued student IDs, and on September 7th the first of the cards had arrived to be distributed. Almost a thousand students enrolled on bachelor and master’s degree programs have already received their cards. The next batch of IDs will be ordered after the end of the admissions campaign for international students. TSMU students continue their charitable endeavors

Recently, Ternopil State Medical University received a letter of appreciation from the staff of NICU of Ternopil Regional Children’s Hospital. Doctors, parents and the little patients convey their  gratitude to TSMU international students’ faculty for their involvement and help. TSMU students donated costly specialized nutrition for children with congenital diseases. “Your noble deed is an example for all of us to follow,” reads the letter.
