TNMU paramedical students won prizes for the best motivational essays

A month ago, a competition for the best essay and a video about paramedicine was announced for TNMU paramedic students. The contest was organized on the initiative of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University professors with the support of the All-Ukrainian Resuscitation Council. TNMU students did summer internship at Bahçeşehir University in Turkey

An agreement on cooperation has been signed between Ternopil National Medical University and Bahçeşehir University (Turkey). As a part of this cooperation agreement, TNMU students Nataliia Biskupska, Oleksandr Ivanchuk, Tetiana Stakhiv, Iryna Khomiak and Olha Yasnii, having won the competition, got an opportunity to practice at the medical facilities of Istanbul. TNMU ranks second among medical universities in Ukraine by the number of applications submitted for admission

Since the first day of this year’s admission campaign, applicants have been actively submitting their applications and documents for admission to I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. Students of Bahçeşehir University (BAU) did summer medical training at TNMU

This year, for the second time, students of the Bahçeşehir University (BAU) Arthun Koken, Burhan Ozkan, Deniz Dereli, Weisel Korkut, Khilal Aybyuk Yildiz did their summer medical training at TNMU within medical students exchange program between Ternopil National Medical University and Bahçeşehir University (Istanbul, Turkey). TNMU is one of top three universities in Ukraine on the basis of the results of the pilot International Foundations of Medicine (IFOM) examination

On March 15, 2019, an international monitoring study of the quality of higher medical education was held. It was conducted as a pilot IFOM (International Foundations of Medicine) examination. This examination evaluates medical students’ competence in fundamental sciences. The study was attended by 6275 fourth-year students from 19 higher educational institutions. Test tasks were written in Ukrainian. During four hours students were passing the exam simultaneously. 441 students of Ternopil National Medical University took part in the study. The Center for International Projects “Eurovision” in partnership with the international expert group IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence, presented the new academic rating of higher educational establishments of Ukraine “Top 200 Ukraine 2019”. TNMU scientists has participated in the meeting of the International Consortium MONDO (MONitoring Dialysis Outcomes)

  On June 12, 2019, a meeting of the working group of the International Consortium MONitoring Dialysis Outcomes (MONDO) was held in Budapest (Hungary). The international consortium MONDO, initiated in 2010 by the Renal Research Institute (USA), is called for the creation of a global registry and analysis of chronic kidney disease management in patients with chronic hemodialysis, in order to determine the factors of adverse prognosis, early biomarkers, general predictors and cardiovascular mortality and hospitalization in a dialysis population. The BUP Mobility Grant Programme for Young Researchers

It is our pleasure to announce the BUP Mobility Research Grant 2019. The aim with the Mobility Research Grant is to develop and strengthen the cooperation among young researchers in the Baltic Sea Region. On May 27-29, 2019 in Uppsala (Sweden), “Two Steps: Internationalization in Practice – Sweden, Ukraine and Belarus” project was implemented as a part of the Baltic University Program.
