Conference “Medical and Social Aspects of Tuberculosis” was Held Online in TNMU

The Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of TNMU organized an online student research and training conference on “Medical and social aspects of tuberculosis” on March 24, 2021. On this day the German microbiologist Robert Koch announced the discovery of the causative agent of tuberculosis. That is why since March 24, 1993, according to the decision of the WHO, it has been declared the World TB Day. Congratulations to the Award Winners of the Regional Selection for the “St. Panteleimon Order” and “St. Panteleimon Medal”

The meeting of the Ternopil Regional Council of the St. Panteleimon Order was held online on March 23, 2021. The topical issue on the agenda was selection of the candidates for awards for professionalism and mercy “Order of St. Panteleimon” and “Medal of St. Panteleimon”. Workshop on “Cardiovascular System” Took Place within the TNMU Student Project

On March 20, 2021 a workshop on “Cardiovascular system” was held within the MedGRADiENT student project of Ternopil National Medical University. The students of 1st-3rd courses had the opportunity to study in detail the structure of heart tissue. This workshop took place at the Department of Anatomy, located in the morphological building of TNMU. Since 2017, student volunteers of the MISERICORDIA university movement and the local history studio “Terpoliany” assisted the pupils of Lozova secondary school enrolling pupils of 5 villages of Baikivtsi association of local communities, to learn foreign languages. Students from Poland contributed to the Polish language studying, and students from the United States, Ireland, Germany, Nigeria, Ghana, Congo, Malawi, Egypt, Tunisia, Kenya, Namibia, Liberia, Syria, Kuwait, the UAE, India, and Pakistan – to English. On March 8, 2021, the team of the TNMU student project “MedGradient” held a seminar on Medical Biology.
