First in the TNMU History General University Tournament on Mobile Phones

On December 21, 2021, the students of TNMU Kondratyshyn Andrii Romanovych (group MM-412) and Nevidomskyi Vadym Petrovych (group MM-407) held a general university tournament on PUBG Mobile. The aim of the project was to help students make new acquaintances among their peers and have fun on vacation. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the choice of leisure is not significant. Charitable Support to Children of ATO Soldiers

During the semester, TNMU volunteer students made every effort to hold many charity events and help as many people as possible. In total, our students managed to arrange about 40 events. Unique Stones from the Holy Land were Brought to TNMU

On December 23, 2021, unique relics from the Holy Land – the stones from the birthplace of the Virgin Mary of Jesus Christ were brought to and consecrated at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. This symbol of God’s blessing was ordered by the Jewish community of Ternopil region as a gift for all future mothers and gynecologists-obstetricians of Ternopil region. TNMU Student Won the European Championship in Ballroom Dancing

On December 18, 2021, the European Ballroom Dancing Championship (IDSA European Championship) took place in Poland. Yulia Zubnina, a student of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and her partner Yevhen Chervatiuk won in their age category “Youth 1” (10 dances). The girl is studying at the Faculty of Medicine, specialty General Medicine. Yulia is a multiple champion and winner of national and international competitions in ballroom dancing. Students Scientific Conference on Histology at TNMU

There cannot be a better way to finish Histology Course than in a form of an Annual Students’ Scientific Conference. It was held on the 10th of December 2021 on Microsoft Teams. The main topic of the meeting was Modern Medical Discoveries and Inventions. Implementation of the International Project of TNMU within the Baltic University Programme

“Elements of Nature: Living in Harmony” is the name of an international project implemented under the Baltic University Program (Sweden) at TNMU together with the University of Rzeszow (Poland), whose Polish coordinator is Professor Kristina Lesniak-Mochuk. “Box of Courage” by TNMU Volunteers for Children with Cancer

Teachers and students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University comprehend what is oncopathology especially in children. For the first time the Research and Local History Studio “Terpoliany” and the NGO “Institute of National Heritage” presented a dictionary of philosophy at TNMU. “Start changing with you. Help protect those who need it!” – it is the words Solomiia Berehuliak and Mariia Solomakhina, the 1st-year students of the Faculty of Medicine, organized an event on December 16, 2021. TNMU Students Informed Ternopil Pupils About the Dangers of Tuberculosis

On December 16, 2021, Maksym Filipchak, a student of TNMU, talked on the issues of tuberculosis prevention in Ukraine with pupils of N. Yaremchuk Lyceum School No. 6. The aim of the lesson was to inform the 8th form students about the urgency of the issue of tuberculosis spread among the population, about the disease, ways of its transmission, the first symptoms and methods of prevention. This year the TV Prize “Ternopil Pride” was established by Ternopil-1 and INTB TV channels. Anyone could submit a candidate or team for this award in 20 nominations. TNMU Students Flourished an Honorary Mission of St. Nicholas’ Assistants

For the most anticipated children’s holiday of winter – St. Nicholas Day, the volunteers of Ternopil National Medical University launched a campaign “Nicholas will not forget about you”, which raised funds for disadvantaged children to present them unforgettable emotions. In total, the amount of UAH 34,325 was collected. “We received 10 letters from children; they wrote their wishes and needs. Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Trained in Hungary

During December 5-11, Tetiana Ivanitska, the Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, took part in advanced training according to the method of Biosuggestive Therapy. The training took place at the Astralitus International Medical Centre in Pecs, Hungary.
