TNNU Representatives Received Awards from the Minister of Defence of Ukraine
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, Ternopil National Medical University has been actively involved in the training of soldiers, representatives of territorial defence and military doctors in tactical medicine for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An intensive training program was developed, its logistics were developed, and the teaching staff was prepared to carry out the tasks of the program. All trainees successfully completed the training, passed the exam and received individual first-aid kits and combat medic kits from the university.
This work of Ternopil National Medical University was well appreciated at the national level. Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov awarded the badge “The Badge of Honour” to Rector of Ternopil National Medical University Mykhaylo Korda, Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs Stepan Zaporozhan, Head of the Department of Emergency and Simulation Medicine Arsen Hudyma and Associate Professor of the Department of Emergency and Simulation Medicine Halyna Tsymbaliuk.
Mykhaylo Korda was also presented with a certificate from the commander of the Medical Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General of the Medical Service Tetiana Ostapenko, for his contribution to the organization and provision of medical assistance to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
