Voluntary Activities of “Misericordia” Organization

Students of the university volunteer organization “Misericordia” once again visited the Ternopil Regional Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital, where they were accepted by Associate Professor of the Department of Neurology, neurologist Khrystyna Duve, Head of the engineering and technical department Yurii Zozulia, and Assistant Pharmacist Nataliia Butenko.

Volunteers of the Faculty of Medicine Diana Storoshchuk, Marta Struk, Anastasiia Anheliashko handed over surgical materials, needles, antibiotics, dressing material, sterile gloves and other medical supplies. The students express their sincere appreciation to the Poplawski family from the city of San Javier (Spain) and the Zimniak family from the city of Chorzów (Poland). The medical staff thanked the supporters for their work and constant help for the hospital.
Also, representatives of “Misericordia” volunteer organization handed over another humanitarian aid, which was collected at the parish of the Roman Catholic Church of the Most Holy Virgin Mary Ascended from the city of Ostszeszów, which is located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship (Poland). The volunteers handed over a hard medical mattress, walkers, and a toilet chair and a batch of socks. Medical students express their deepest appreciation to the prior of the church, Father Leszek Szkopek, for his constant support of our volunteer movement and Ukraine in general.
