New phantom class for the training of dentistry students opened at TSMU

Improving student training facilities is priority for Ternopil State Medical University administration. Recently, TSMU launched a dentistry phantom class with 14 workstations, allowing students to work on their practical skills. The new training facility joins the first phantom class with 12 stations opened last year. The phantoms allow to simulate therapeutic, orthopedic, surgical and children’s dental cases, while the instructors help to analyze each situation in detail. Ternopil Dental Summit brought together leading Ukrainian dentists

An international conference Ternopil Dental Summit took place in the academic and recreation complex Chervona Kalyna. More than two hundred researchers and practicing dentists , students and interns from different regions of Ukraine, and other countries took part in the meeting . TSMU Dentistry Clinic opened its doors

University Hospital Dental Clinic located on 7 Chekhova opened its doors on April 5. This clinic will serve the residents of our city and region, providing services such as free dental diagnosis and patients consults by TSMU professors and other specialists in therapeutic, pediatric, orthopedic and surgical dentistry. Ternopil State Medical University faculty and students organized a charity event for children without parental care

Faculty and students of Ternopil State Medical University regularly carry out charitable projects and participate in volunteer activities. Recently, medical interns and their mentors from Faculty of Dentistry of the institute of postgraduate education helped children without parental care. For three days, members of the Department had been taking care of oral health of more than ten young patients from Ternopil Regional Home for Schoolchildren. Each pupil received quality dental care.
