TSMU international student took first place in the Olympiad on Latin language and Medical Terminology

Students of the Ternopil State Medical University took part in the 2nd stage of National Student Olympiad on Latin Language and Foundations of Medical Terminology, which took place on April 26-27, 2018, at the Department of Foreign Languages, Latin Language and Medical Terminology of the Ukrainian Medical Dentistry Academy (Poltava). Students of Ternopil State Medical University took part in the International Medical Students’ Conference, which took place on April 19-21, 2018 in Krakow. TSMU students presented an Evening of Cultures to schoolchildren

On March 28, 2018, pupils from different cities of Ukraine gathered in Ivan Franko Ternopil Ukrainian Gymnasium to take part in a National Geography Olympiad. Students of the Ternopil State Medical University talked to the schoolchildren about their countries. To interest children and deepen their knowledge, the students prepared fascinating facts and creative performances. TSMU men’s volleyball team took third place in city-wide university competition

The men’s volleyball team of Ternopil State Medical University on March 26-28, 2018took part in the II Open Ternopil University Games. The competition was organized by the Department for Family, Youth Policy and Sports of Ternopil City Council and the Ternopil Regional Committee on Physical Education and Sport of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. International football tournament took place at TSMU

For two weeks in a row, on weekends (3-4 and 10-11 February 2018), an international football tournament took place at the sports complex of Ternopil State Medical University. Twelve student teams took part in the competition. The teams included student athletes from Iraq, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, India, Morocco, Cameroon, and Ukraine. The competition for the main prize was intense, and as a result of it the BlackTeam, which included students from Ghana, took the first place. In 2009, events in connection of the World Prematurity Day took place for the first time in Vienna. In St. Michael’s Square, professors at the University Clinic Angelica Berger and Arnold Pollack launched 500 white balloons into the sky to signify the number of prematurely born children during the year. European Medical Students’ Association held an open door meeting

TSMU students that form Ternopil branch of the European Medical Students’ Association recently held  an open door meeting in the administrative building of Ternopil State Medical University. President of the branch, fourth-year student Zuzanna Betkowiak from Poland, congratulated all present on the start of the new academic year. TSMU Students brought fun activities to children’s summer camp

International students of Ternopil State Medical University visited the Rainbow children’s summer camp. The camp invites children whose parents serve in the ATO area and it has been organized for the second year in a row, by the Ternopil Center for Psychological Rehabilitation “Step Toward”. In the camp, children can take part in various master classes, go on trips, and meet interesting people. Ternopil State Medical University Sports Fest 2017 has its first winners

Association of Indian students of Ternopil State Medical University has introduced initiated a sports and  friendship festival, which aims to strengthen the friendly relations between Ukrainian youth and students from other countries studying in Ternopil. Team of TSMU international students placed third in inter-university Futsal tournament

On 20-24 March 2017 Ternopil State Medical University  hosted a Futsal tournament among University students. Rector’s Cup is presented to the winners of basketball tournament

Ternopil State Medical University supports athletics and encourages participation of students in sports competitions. On 14-16 March 2017, TSMU athletic complex hosted a basketball tournament for the Rector’s Cup, and dedicated  to the 60th anniversary of the University. University-wide volunteer movement Misericordia collected care package items for the troops

Charity work in Ternopil State Medical University has deep roots. Members of a local history group Terpoliany, Ukrainian and international students alike, have been taking part in charitable activities for quite some time. Recently leader of the group, associate professor Taras Kadobnyi with support of TSMU administration and deans organized a university-wide volunteer movement Misericordia. TSMU Indian students talked about their country with a local TV channel

Last week students of Ternopil State Medical University took part in the program “Morning with TTB”. They talked about customs, culture and features of their country. Parth Sabya Sachi, Priyanka Tyagi, Pramvir Rathee and Varsha Kashyap shared with Ternopil audience their impressions of India, told how Indians celebrate their national holidays, and how the students keep their traditions while studying at Ternopil State Medical University.
