TSMU students did summer training at Wrocław Medical University

The cooperation between the medical schools of Wrocław and Ternopil, and tradition of summer exchange visits for their students continues. Results of competition among TSMU students to study at Wroclaw Medical University

On May 21, 2018,  TSMU department of international relations finalized results of a competition for 3rd and 4th year medical students to study at Wroclaw Medical University for one semester during the 2018-2019 academic year. Competition committee included professors A.H.Shulhai and I.R.Selskyi, assoc. profoessors H.A.Krytska, N.E.Lisnychuk, T. A. Kovalchuk and A.I.Mastalir, and assistant professor M.Y. Kychula. Traineeship of TSMU instructor at the Hematology Clinic of Wrocław Medical University

Cooperation between Ternopil State Medical University and Wrocław Medical University allows our university professors to train at the hospitals of the partner university. The most recent  training was a ten-day visit to the Clinic of Bone Marrow Transplantation, Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Przylądek Nadziei by TSMU instructor from the Department of Pediatrics  Natalia Luchyshyn. On 16-27 May 2017, Wojciech Barg, professor of Wroclaw Medical University visited Ternopil State Medical University on academic exchange program ERASMUS+. This has been one of the many events and visits between staff and students of our two schools taken place within the last few years. Ternopil State Medical University lecturer trained in Wrocław Medical University

The long-term cooperation between Ternopil State Medical University and Wrocław Medical University allows our lecturers and professors to train using research and clinical facilities of the Polish university. Recently, Associate Professor of Prosthodontics of the Faculty of Dentistry Svitlana Rosolovska was in Wroclaw Medical University on a month-long internship. Head of Ternopil State Medical University department of childhood diseases and pediatric surgery professor Oksana Boyarchuk on 19-25 March 2017 visited Wroclaw Medical University as a part of academic exchange program ERASMUS + Staff Mobility for Teaching. Head of Ternopil State Medical University Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology Professor Oleksandra Oleschuk on 11-18 March 2017 visited Department of Clinical Pharmacology in Wroclaw Medical University, Poland within the framework of academic exchange program ERASMUS +. Department of Clinical Pharmacology of Wroclaw Medical University is located in a modern pharmaceutical building near the University Hospital. Ternopil State Medical University students had practical clinical training in Poland

Fifth year students of the Faculty of Dentistry Anna Chykyta, Katheryna Mashkova, Valentyne Kuzminska and fourth year students Svitlana Perytiatko, Pavlo Ostrovskyi and Yurii Shanaida recently returned from a clinical training in Poland, where they spent two weeks improving their medical skills in Wrocław clinics.
