On May 27, 2022, students of Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University received food kits prepared and handed over for them by university teachers and staff, as well as the Children\u2019s Aid Foundation (Renata Blecha, Dominika Blecha, Zywiec, Poland) as part of grant support of Prime Minister of Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University takes good care of its students from different parts of Ukraine \u2013 Kherson, Zaporizhia, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, who were forced to stay in Ternopil, because now their cities are in a war zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI really need this help, I came to study in Ternopil from Kryvyi Rih. Unfortunately, I am not able to return home. My mother is there now, my father is at war, and they are asking me to stay safe,\u201d says Yuliia, a first-year student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marta Rudenko, Head of TNMU Centre for Educational Work and Cultural Development, noted that during the war we should become extremely supportive for our students who need assistance and attention, faith in their own strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can all contribute to the good deeds of TNMU volunteers, become financial, material or moral support for our students by letting each of them feel valuable and needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The packages can be left at the security point in the administrative building for the name of Marta Rudenko or you can contact TNMU Centre for Educational Work and Cultural Development. Products which are needed include: vegetables, eggs, cereals, oil, sugar, pasta, canned food, tea, cookies and personal hygiene products. Students can contact the Centre for Educational Work and Cultural Development for any assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
