<\/figure>\n\n\n\nInteresting and creative cooperation of students and teachers continued throughout the week. At professor Nadia Fedchyshyn\u2019s classes on German medical terminology, students studied clinical terms using the virtual German language program \u201cErkrankungen der Augen\u201d.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the leadership of Professor Tetiana Khvalyboha, students organized interesting round tables on the topic \u201cLeading institutions of higher medical \/ dental education in Europe and the world\u201d. During these interactive events, the students discussed the experience of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world, their scientific and personnel potential, the peculiarities of the organization of student self-government, legal and financial aspects of the functioning of their clinical facilities, evaluation methods and the education system in general. The discussion was accompanied by the demonstration of presentations and video materials, which undoubtedly contributed to the development of listening and speaking skills.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Students of the Faculty of Medicine, together with Associate Professor Nataliia Yelahina, organized a charity event with various reports on the topic \u201cFemale reproductive system\u201d. This event was held in order to combine education with a social initiative. During the event, students learned about various aspects of the female reproductive system, using English as a means of communication. They learned about the physiology of this system, various diseases and their prevention, methods of contraception and the importance of regular medical examinations. In the Teams system, students used a variety of learning methods and forms, such as presentations, discussions, video and audio materials, surveys, group assignments to enhance collaboration and information sharing.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The lesson conducted by Associate Professor Mariia Kichula began with an informative moment about the importance of learning foreign languages and our university\u2019s support for the mobility of talented students and their studies in foreign educational institutions. In the future, students had the opportunity to present and defend their project works on the topics \u201cPneumonia\u201d, \u201cBronchitis\u201d and \u201cGingivitis\u201d. In addition, during the lesson, a virtual trip to the human oral cavity was made and a number of tasks related to learning new vocabulary were completed.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Students of group MM-108 showed great abilities and a creative approach during a professional English language class on the topic: \u201cBlood vessels\u201d under the leadership of Associate Professor Iryna Prokop. Students prepared interesting presentations, creative tasks, puzzles, rebuses, crosswords for the topic of the class and demonstrated a significant cognitive interest in learning professional English.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Associate Professor Halyna Kitura with the 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Medicine conducted interactive classes, presenting information on the topic in the form of creative presentations. In particular, students started the class by demonstrating interesting facts about the role of the English language in the life of a doctor.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Students of group \u0422R-101, together with Associate Professor Ivanna Humenna, presented reports on the work of a physiotherapist and the importance of this profession in modern society, new methods of treatment in physiotherapy. Together with the students of the medical faculty, important questions about stereotypes and their influence on personality were discussed. During the class, students presented presentations, quizzes and crossword puzzles.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The impact of the war in Ukraine on human health and the environment was discussed by students of groups MM-117 and MM-111 together with teacher Nataliia Hantimurova. Students discussed the lexical material related to this topic with the help of crosswords, and also got acquainted with the harmful consequences of war for people\u2019s health and the environment in the form of presentations and videos.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n At a Latin class, Associate Professor Ivanna Vorona with groups of the Faculty of Pharmacy, studying the topic \u201cHomeopathy. Aromatherapy\u201d, applied the case method. By solving the tasks set before them, the students successfully mastered the structure of a homeopathic prescription, the forms of homeopathic medicines, and learned how to write a homeopathic prescription. They also got acquainted with the history of aromatherapy, learned to write the Latin names of essential oils grammatically correctly, and to use these names when writing prescriptions. Using presentations, students talked about the properties of certain essential oils and their effects on the human body.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Students of group MM-103 together with Associate Professor Tetiana Savaryn prepared interesting presentations about the origin of the Latin names of medicinal plants while studying the topic \u201cPrescription\u201d, which greatly facilitated the study of the lexical minimum of the material.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The information was provided by Nataliia Hantimurova.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Foreign Languages Week was held at the Department of Foreign Languages.
