Today, in this difficult and terrible time of the Russian war in Ukraine, the international support is especially needed: military ammunition and equipment, as well as medicines and medical products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We show gratitude to the Ukrainian diaspora in Germany, i.e. the public organization Ukrainischer Verein in Niedersachsen e. V. (Ukrainian Union of Lower Saxony) and Apotheker Ohne Grenzen, which have already twice delivered aid to Ukrainians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medicines for hospital care was the first tranche: cost-effective broad-spectrum antibiotics, including the most effective reserve drugs, painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs, haemostatics of systemic action, crystalloid infusion solutions, antiseptics and surgical dressings, dressings on the eyes, occlusive dressings, drugs that affect the CNS, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 600 kg of valuable supplies was the second tranche: catheters, intravenous cannulas, infusion systems, endotracheal tubes of various sizes, disposable laryngeal masks, cohesive bandages, sterile dressings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, almost 90,000 euros were sent as voluntary donations and medicines and medical supplies were purchased. This invaluable assistance in the conditions of hostilities allows saving lives of soldiers and civilians and has already been partially distributed to the military hospitals of Ukraine, in particular Mechnikov Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital, and the military hospital in Pokrovsk (Donetsk region), the psychiatric department of the military hospital in Kyiv and the Armed Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
