This method became especially relevant during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, as it makes it possible to identify pathogens with a high degree of probability. In addition, we use the PCR method to diagnose other viral and bacterial infections, including Lyme disease and other transmissible infections transmitted through tick bites, in the study of which our university is a leader in Ukraine. Therefore, university researchers need modern equipment to conduct these studies.
