On January 30, 2024, Ternopil National Medical University held an online seminar with the Deputy Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, Professor Olena Yeremenko. The event was devoted to accreditation of educational programs, typical difficulties of preparing self-reports according to evaluation criteria. The webinar was attended by vice-rectors, heads of departments, guarantors of educational programs, representatives of support groups, student self-government, deans of faculties, students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first part of the seminar was built in the form of an interactive presentation \u2013 the attendees could express their own opinion on the importance of various sub-criteria in the overall evaluation of the educational program, express their position on the criticality of specific shortcomings that may be present in the examination process. During the meeting, the evaluation of educational programs was also considered, namely the problem of establishing the level of compliance of the educational program with the criteria. The material for the analysis consisted of the cases from the university\u2019s previous accreditations: self-reports, comments of experts and expert councils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the question-and-answer session, they discussed the problems of implementing medical educational programs, in particular, dual education in medicine, the scope of elective disciplines in the field of \u201cHealth care\u201d, the interpretation of the \u201clearning through research\u201d criterion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the meeting, the Vice-Rector for Education and Science, Professor Arkadii Shulhai thanked Ms. Olena Yeremenko on behalf of the Rector and the entire team of TNMU for an interesting and useful seminar. Such meetings contribute to the development and improvement of educational programs of Ternopil National Medical University, to the improvement of the training of future \u201cprofessionals of the field of \u201cHealth Care\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
