On November 30, 2023, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University hosted a series of lectures within the framework of the All-Ukrainian \u201cStudent-to-student\u201d project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, students prepared reports on such clinical disciplines as \u201cInternal Medicine\u201d and \u201cClinical Pharmacology\u201d under the guidance of the teaching staff of the Departments of Internal Medicine No. 1 and Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Vice-Rector for Research and Education of Kharkiv National Medical University, Professor V.D. Markovskyi and TNMU Vice-Rector for Science and Education, Professor A.H. Shulhai addressed the participants of the All-Ukrainian student project with a welcome speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cStudent-to-Student\u201d project has become a kind of platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between different medical universities of Ukraine. Initiated by Kharkiv National Medical University, this project offers a modern learning format through the preparation and creation of video lectures on selected topics, in which students highlight complex issues in medicine that cause difficulties for future medical specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many universities have already joined this initiative, including O. Bohomolets National Medical University, Ukrainian Medical and Dental Academy, Bukovyna State Medical University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Zaporizhia State Medical University, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, M. Pyrohov Vinnytsia National Medical University, Sumy State University and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not the first time that our university has participated in this project: in 2021, students presented lectures on cardiology topics, in particular one of its complex and important sections \u2013 arrhythmology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this year\u2019s event, students of Ternopil National Medical University under the leadership of Professor N.I. Yarema (Department of Internal Medicine No. 1) and Professor V.V. Shmanko (Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology)  presented interesting and relevant lectures on cardiology, in particular \u201cModern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of resistant arterial hypertension\u201d (Vitalii Kobryn, 6th year), \u201cContraception of a new generation\u201d (Valeria Blahuliak, 5th year) and \u201cXacduro as a new drug against resistant pathogens of pneumonia\u201d (Yulia Leontieva, 5th year).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each lecture became a separate study of complex issues in this field of medicine. Students reviewed clinical aspects, diagnostic methods and modern approaches to treatment in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project opened up new opportunities for future doctors, allowing them to share their experience and enrich the knowledge of the student community. Further expansion of cooperation between medical universities of Ukraine and further exchange of experience and knowledge between students is expected, which will open up new opportunities for the further development of medical education in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
