It was organized by the Department of Tourism and Promotions of the Kyiv City State Adminitration and Ukrainian Medical Tourism Association. The event was organized as part of the International Medical Travel Exhibition and Conference \u201cMTEC.Rebuild 2023\u201d. Associate Professor of TNMU Department of Physiology, Bioethics and Biosafety Tetyana Tolokova took part in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-full eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"561\" height=\"254\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image002-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-67631\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image002-4.jpg 561w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image002-4-298x135.jpg 298w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image002-4-150x67.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 561px) 100vw, 561px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The theme of the congress corresponded to the actual challenges of wartime and new approaches to the recovery and reconstruction of the medical system, including:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-fe844a\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">treatment and rehabilitation of wounded defenders;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">psychological rehabilitation of the military and civilians;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">participation in grant programs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">involvement of international partners in the recovery of the medical industry of Ukraine;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">investment projects for the construction of modern medical, rehabilitation and health centres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image003-5-1020x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-67632\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image003-5-1020x460.jpg 1020w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image003-5-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image003-5-150x67.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image003-5-768x346.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/image003-5.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">During the congress, prosthetics and rehabilitation of defenders, psychological support of families of servicemen, social assistance and rebuilding of medical infrastructure after the victory were discussed. Ukraine has every chance to become one of the leading centres of medical tourism in Europe. We have highly qualified doctors, modern equipment and comfortable conditions for treatment and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">There were panel discussions \u201cThe role of the state and society in the new realities of the healthcare system of Ukraine\u201d, \u201cPossibilities for modern treatment and rehabilitation in the conditions of the war with Russia\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"460\" curator of the field of training of the military team of tactical medicine in the Serhii Prytula Foundation, conducted the training for the participants of the congress on the topic \u201cProviding pre-medical training during the war\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"754\" height=\"460\" 100vw, 754px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">As part of the event, participants had the opportunity to participate in an informational tour of leading clinics in Kyiv, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-875cb0\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">\u201cLeleka\u201d Medical Centre (the only medical institution in Ukraine that received a confirmed certification by JCI (Joint Commission, which guarantees the safety of patients at all stages);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Oncocenter \u201cSpizhenko Clinic\u201d, which has the only specialized cyberknife system centre in Ukraine (CyberKnife);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Rehabilitation centre \u201cSpirit\u201d, which uses a unique method of hippotherapy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">INTO-SANA medical association, which operates in Odesa and Kyiv as a network clinic with guaranteed highest level of quality of medical services and patient safety.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"751\" height=\"460\" 100vw, 751px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The event was attended by medical education specialists, practicing doctors, rehabilitators, health care managers, as well as representatives of charitable organizations, tourism operators and specialized associations, along with speakers and experts from the medical and tourism industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">The acquired knowledge of modern trends in medicine and health care will be applied in the educational process in the disciplines \u201cBioethics\u201d, \u201cMedical ethics\u201d, \u201cBioethics in pre-clinical and clinical scientific research\u201d, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">On the basis of the
