Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University hosted a research and training conference with international participation \u201cMedical and social problems of childhood\u201d. The event was held in a mixed format and was organized by the Department of Children\u2019s Diseases and Paediatric Surgery of TNMU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\" wp-block-image size-large eplus-wrapper\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"613\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image001-1-613x460.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-68086\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image001-1-613x460.jpg 613w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image001-1-180x135.jpg 180w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image001-1-768x577.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tdmu.edu.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/image001-1.jpg 1003w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 613px) 100vw, 613px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Leading experts from Ukraine, Lithuania, and Latvia took part in the conference. Professor Ivan Klishch drew attention to the relevance of the suggested topic of the conference, especially during the war, the importance of its holding, emphasized the impact of stress on internally displaced children, which affects their health, who currently cannot receive proper medical care in time. Post-stress disorder in adults and children leads to the development of not only psychological problems, but also somatic disorders. L. Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine Alla Volokha \u201cImmunodeficiencies in the practice of a paediatrician and a family doctor\u201d. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, gave a report on the topic \u201cDiagnosis of diseases accompanied by T- and B-lymphopenia using neonatal screening (clinical case)\u201d. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, was relevant and interactive. She presented a report on the topic \u201cA child with recurrent respiratory infections: how to choose the right diagnostic and treatment tactics\u201d (workshop). Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and Zoriana Borys, an allergist at Ternopil Regional Children\u2019s Hospital, \u201cBroncho-obstructive syndrome in children in the context of clinical guidelines and broncholytic therapy\u201d. Halyna Makukh focused attention on the results of the implementation of neonatal screening for T- and B-lymphopenia in Ukraine.
