On April 21, 2023, a meeting of specialized academic council (DF 58.601.072) was held on the occasion of the defence of Antonina Tsipkalo\u2019s dissertation \u201cThe influence of sleep quality on the health of nurses working in shifts\u201d for the degree of doctor of philosophy in the specialty \u201cNursing\u201d (the dissertation was supervised by Professor Maria Marushchak).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antonina Tsipkalo presented the results of her research, noting the relevance, scientific and practical\u00a0 significance of the obtained results, which consisted in clarifying the influence of sleep quality indicators on the health status of nurses of therapeutic and surgical departments who work in shifts, by studying the level of blood pressure, dispositional optimism and their relationships with sleep quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the basis of the public defence of the thesis, the members of the specialized academic council decided to award Tsipkalo Antonina Ivanovna the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty \u201cNursing\u201d in the field of knowledge \u201cHealth Care\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antonina Tsipkalo expressed the appreciation to administration of Ternopil National Medical University for their concern for the nursing profession and the opportunity to obtain all levels of higher education here, noting that she was proud to have studied at Ternopil National Medical University for her master\u2019s and postgraduate studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
