On February 11, 2023, Tetiana<\/strong> Ivanitska<\/strong>, Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology of Ternopil National Medical University, took part in the seminar \u201cLife after the war. Overcoming post-traumatic syndrome\u201d. The event was organized by the public organization \u201cYou are your own country\u201d and took place in Kyiv at \u201cVcentri HUB: Shevchenkivskyi\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel discussion was attended by Olympic champion, public figure, honoured master of sports Stella<\/strong> Zakharova<\/strong>, head of NGO \u201cYou are your own country\u201d Volodymyr<\/strong> Vavrykovych<\/strong>, director of Centre for mental health and rehabilitation of veterans \u201cLisova Poliana\u201d Kseniia<\/strong> Voznitsyna<\/strong>, head of NGO \u201cInternational Association of the Future of Ukraine\u201d Anna<\/strong> Duhinets<\/strong> and practical psychologist Anatolii<\/strong> Baida<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representatives of public associations and legal institutions, students, as well as concerned members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, the issue of readaptation and resocialization to civilian life of military personnel, psychological rehabilitation of internally displaced persons and other people for whom the war became a psychologically traumatic experience was considered. An active discussion took place regarding the psychosocial issues of returning to peaceful life for those who were forced to stay in the war zone for a long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the seminar, it was announced the creation of a working group, which included psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, rehabilitation doctors, public figures, volunteers and government officials. This group is focused on developing a rehabilitation program for victims of various social and age categories as a result of the war in Ukraine.
