Since the beginning of Russia\u2019s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, the American Brian True and the charitable organization \u201cEye Care for Ukraine\u201d (https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EyeCareForUkraine\/, https:\/\/eyecareforukraine.org\/) have been actively helping Ukrainians and provide charitable assistance and support in the form of medical supplies, instruments for ophthalmic surgery, protective eye shields, glasses, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a non-profit charitable organization from Sorunna, United States, Michigan. The activities of \u201cEye Care for Ukraine\u201d are aimed at research, academic and charitable purposes, establishing cooperation with Ukrainian hospitals and institutions of higher education to provide the best training of eye care professionals and to support research, promote the improvement of eye care and reduce blindness, which can be prevented by early treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Volunteer Centre of TNMU has frequently received help from \u201cEye Care for Ukraine\u201d. Brian True has personally brought tourniquets, IFAKs, medical supplies and tools many times, which were transported to the frontline soldiers and military hospitals by our university volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the financial support of \u201cEye Care for Ukraine\u201d, a new social clinical research project was launched and dewars for storage and cryopreservation of biological material were purchased. Owing to this project, a medical program for soldiers of the Armed Forces will be implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
