On the Day of Local Self-Government, the best citizens of Ternopil were awarded the Volodymyr Luchakivsky Prize on December 7, 2021. The awards were presented in three nominations \u201cFuture is created today\u201d, \u201cFormation of a positive image of the city\u201d and \u201cCultural, artistic, scientific and innovative achievements\u201d. The celebrations took place in the Ukrainian House \u201cPeremoha\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Volodymyr Luchakivsky Prize is awarded annually to honour the memory of Volodymyr Luchakivskyi, the first Ukrainian mayor of Ternopil and to honour community members who have made significant efforts to innovative, technological, scientific, social, public, cultural development and positive image of Ternopil.<\/p>\n

In the nomination \u201cThe future is created today\u201d the winner of the award was Mykhailo Korda, a Ukrainian scientist in medical biochemistry, Professor, Rector of I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

In the nomination \u201cFormation of a positive image of the city\u201d the prize was awarded to Anastasiia Bachynska, the European champion in the team championship, master of sports of Ukraine of international class; in the nomination \u201cCultural, art, scientific and innovative achievements\u201d \u2013 to Olha Pokhyliak, deputy of Ternopil City Council.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
