For many years the contest \u201cTNMU Student of the Year\u201d has been held at I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The full-time students of the1st<\/sup>-6th<\/sup>\u00a0years of study having high academic performance, being engaged in research and social life of the university take part in it. The winners are chosen in such nominations as \u201cFor significant academic achievements\u201d, \u201cFor significant achievements in research\u201d (I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Prize), \u201cFor active citizenship\u201d, \u201cFor significant achievements in cultural development\u201d, \u201cFor significant achievementsin Sport\u201d, \u201cFor active volunteering\u201d.<\/p>\n

The students interested in taking part in the contest submit their applications for consideration by the competition commission to the Centre for Educational Work and Cultural Development of TNMU. During the selection, the members of the commission take into account special achievements and accomplishments in various areas of student life, academic success, participation in research work, social life.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The winners of the competition \u201cTNMU Student, 2021\u201d were awarded during the meeting of the Academic Board on January 25, 2022. They were Roman Tarasiuk, Anastasiia Kovalchuk, Dariia Taran, Dmitro Koval, Anastasiia Nadkevych, Tatiana Valko.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Roman Tarasiuk<\/strong>\u00a0(group MM-610) received an award \u201cFor active volunteering\u201d. He is a co-author of learning materials \u201cManual on Prehospital Care according to the Adapted BLS Protocol\u201d, \u201cHandbook on Prehospital Care for Injuries\u201d, \u201cTactical Assistance to the Wounded in Combat\u201d, as well as the organizer and chief instructor of 14 trainings on prehospital care according to the BLS protocol and tactical medicine according to the TCSS protocol. Roman is the author and speaker of more than 30 lectures on prehospital care, co-author and participant in a instructive and educational video on tactical medicine according to the TSSS protocol.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Anastasiia Kovalchuk<\/strong>\u00a0(group SS-404) won in the nomination \u201cFor active citizenship\u201d. She is a student of the Faculty of Dentistry and a representative of the Commission for Improving the Quality of Education of TNMU, founder and first vice president of the NGO \u201cStudent League of Ternopil Region\u201d. The student took part in the Oscar of Youth Work competition; she won in the nomination \u201cDevelopment of Student Youth\u201d (https:\/\/ternopilcity.gov.ua\/news\/50149.html<\/a>); won in the competitions \u201cPublic Budget 2021\u201d and \u201cPublic Budget 2022\u201d. In 2021 she received gratitude from the mayor for active citizenship, life position, significant personal contribution to the implementation of state youth policy in Ternopil City Territorial Community and on the Youth Day; gratitude for management of communication in the NGO \u201cLST\u201d of the projects of the Public Budget \u201cSummer Stage\u201d and \u201cStudLab\u201d; gratitude for development, implementation and submission to the \u201cPublic Budget 2021\u201d of the project \u201cEducation and Information Environment\u201d; thanks for assistance and support in winning the competition \u201cNGO of the Year\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Daria Taran<\/strong>\u00a0(group MM116), won the award \u201cFor significant achievements in sports\u201d. She was the first in the nomination Disco Dance Freestyle Solos Female Adults during the IDO World Disco Dance Cup (World Cup) (October 30-31, 2021, Follonica, Italy); 1st<\/sup>\u00a0prize in Slow Duo Adults, 1st<\/sup>\u00a0prize in Disco Dance Freestyle Solo Female Adults, 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0prize in Disco Dance Duo Adults, 4th<\/sup>\u00a0prize in Slow Solo Female Adults at the 16th<\/sup>\u00a0Ukrainian Dance Olympiad (Championship of Ukraine) December 04, 2021; 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0prize in Disco Freestyle Open Adults at the Nordic Grand Prix 2021 (December 10-12, 2021, Ekaterinholm, Sweden).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The commission awarded the Prize \u201cFor Significant Achievements in Research\u201d (Gorbachevsky Prize) to\u00a0Dmytro Koval<\/strong>\u00a0(group MM-401). In 2021 he took three prizes at the XV International Medical Congress of Students and Young Scientists (Sections \u201cPharmacy. Pharmacology\u201d), \u201cPathomorphology\u201d, \u201cInternal Medicine\u201d), the second prize in the Conference of Students and Young Scientists of Bogomolets National Medical University. Dmytro is an active participant in the conference on topical issues of pathomorphology. He also published abstracts in the conferences \u201cScience and Practice\u201d in Chernivtsi, \u201cScience and Practice\u201d (Berlin, Germany), took the first prize in the Section \u201cNeurology\u201d of the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0International Olympiad \u201cSamarkand 2021\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Anastasia Nadkevych<\/strong>\u00a0(group MM-311), a member of the NGO \u201cInstitute of National Heritage Research\u201d and the Terpoliany Research and Local Lore Studio, was awarded in the nomination \u201cFor Significant Achievements in the Development of Culture\u201d. In 2021, she was the organizer, co-organizer and participant of almost 30 public events.<\/p>\n

Tatiana Valko<\/strong>\u00a0was the best in the nomination \u201cFor significant academic achievements\u201d. Her average score for the 9th<\/sup>\u00a0semester of the previous academic year is 181.3.<\/p>\n
