Terpolyany Research and Local History Studio and the Institute for the Study of National Heritage organized a presentation of Fedor Venzhynovych\u2019s book \u201cWe Weren\u2019t Broken (About the OUN-UPA Liberation Struggle in Southern Volyn). It tells about the national liberation struggle of the population of Ternopil region in the 1930-50s. The students found interesting information about it that was presented in their speeches.<\/p>\n

Anastasia Nadkevych, a third-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, presented the report on digression into the past and honouring the memory of the fallen heroes.<\/p>\n

More about the war was reported by Buchko Andriana, the 4th<\/sup>-year student of the Faculty of Medicine.<\/p>\n

Khrystyna Maihruk, a 6th<\/sup>-year student of the Faculty of Medicine, expanded on the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.<\/p>\n

Yana Dobrianska, a first-year student of the Faculty of Dentistry, told the audience about the goal set by the OUN and UPA organizations.<\/p>\n

Valerii Dmytrovych Didukh, Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Physics of Diagnostic and Medical Equipment, focused on the peculiarities of the insurgents\u2019 struggle in Volyn region.<\/p>\n

Nadkevych Andrii Lonhinovych, a neurologist, revealed the important role of the medical service of the insurgent army, which is not yet a fully studied as a page of history, because the author is also a physician.<\/p>\n

Volodymyr Oleksiiovych Rosolovskyi, the Head of the Department for Social Work of Family and Gender Policy against Human Trafficking of theDepartment of Social Protection of Ternopil Regional State Administration, recited one of the poems: \u201cTell me, Grandma, Did the Insurgents Die in Vain\u201d.<\/p>\n

The rise of the patriotic spirit and invincibility of the Ukrainian people was presented by a famous public figure, publicist and literary critic Barna Volodymyr Andriiovych.<\/p>\n
