<\/a><\/p>\nProf. dr hab. Kazimierz G\u0142owniak at the opening of the conference<\/em><\/p>\n The purpose of the event was to cover all aspects related to natural products and current research methods for obtaining active natural ingredients, obtained mainly from plant raw materials.<\/p>\n 60 scholars from Poland, Austria, Greece, Slovakia, Belgium, Turkey, Ukraine, Australia, Greece, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong joined the conference. They presented the results of their research in 16 plenary lectures, 5 short lectures and 40 poster presentations.<\/p>\n Our team presented poster presentations on the topic: \u201cEssential oils of herbs of some species of marigold genus (Tagetes L.)\u201d \u2013 authors Kostyshyn L., Valko T., Marchyshyn S., Mashkovska S.; and \u201cFoamability and foam stability potential of Herniaria glabra L. saponins\u201d \u2013 authors Kozachok S., Pecio \u0141., Marchyshyn S., Oleszek W.<\/p>\n A number of master classes were delivered within the forum, in which Svitlana Marchyshyn and Solomiya Kozachok took part. At the master class \u201cCalculations of the natural and organic index of cosmetics according to ISO 16128-1: 2016 and ISO 16128-2: 2017 guidelines\u201d the definitions of \u201cnatural ingredients\u201d, \u201cderivatives of natural ingredients\u201d, \u201corganic ingredients\u201d and \u201cderivatives of organic ingredients\u201d were presented to the participants, as well as the requirements for natural and organic cosmetics in accordance with ISO 16128, legislation on advertising and marketing of these products in the world. The participants could also test two main methods of determining and confirming the naturalness and organicity of cosmetic products, calculate natural indices, indices of natural origin, organic index and index of organic origin in selected samples of cosmetic products.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
