On May 24, 2021, student volunteers of the university movement \u201cMisericordia\u201d and local history studio \u201cTerpolyany\u201d visited the Centre for Social Services in a day-and-night residence in the village of Denysiv, Kupchynetsi ATC. The students got acquainted with the living conditions, needs of the institution and the people there; they also chatted with the people living at the institution. The volunteers donated clothes, household chemicals, hygiene products and fruit to the residents. The medical staff and wards asked the medical students to help with the medical examination and consultations.<\/p>\n

On June 4, a volunteer event was held in this institution. Medical students measured blood pressure, performed auscultation of the lungs and heart, had the opportunity to communicate with people living there and gave them medical advice. Nazar Shaptala, a student at the Faculty of Dentistry, advised people on oral hygiene. They also presented sweets, vegetables and fruits.<\/p>\n

The students noticed the need of residents for some medications, so the purpose of their next campaign will be preventive examination and providing medicines. The volunteers plan to include the Centre for Social Services in day-and-night living in the village of Denysiv of Kupchynetsi ATC into the list of partner institutions of the volunteer movement.<\/p>\n

Diana Storoshchuk, Anastasia Nadkevych, Marta Struk, Nazar Shaptala, Tetiana Opera, Stepan Vankevych, Ostap Saturskyi, Khrystyna and Ihor Maikhruk, Andriana Buchko, Illia Sorokivskyi, Yana Chaika, Yana Rybenchuk, Oksana and Khrystyna Pelyp joined the event.<\/p>\n
