On April 14, 2021, the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0round of the National competition of student research in Pharmacology, Pharmacy in English took place at the Bogomolets National Medical University. University students of Ukraine submitted their research papers to the jury. The research papers of students from Kharkov, Kiev and Ternopil were selected in the second round of the competition.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This year, our university was represented by four fifth year students of the International Students Faculty (Pharmacy specialty):\u00a0Obianuju Florence Ezike, Adaeze Elizabeth Ajie, Donkor Annie Abbeyquaye, Oluwatobiloba Joy Omotosho<\/strong>.\u00a0Obianuju Florence Ezike\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Adaeze Elizabeth Ajie<\/strong>\u00a0presented a joint research on \u201cNew Liquid Chromatographic Assays for Simultaneous Quantification of Antihypertensives Atenolol and Valsartan in their Dosage Forms\u201d,\u00a0Donkor Annie Abbeyquaye\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Oluwatobiloba Joy Omotosho<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a joint research on \u201cHPLC Methods for the Quantification of Atorvastatin and Lisinopril in Tablets\u201d. The research was performed at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of TNMU. The academic supervisor of the students is Professor Lilia Lohoida, the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.<\/p>\n

Obianuju Florence Ezike\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Adaeze Elizabeth Ajie\u00a0<\/strong>took the third award,\u00a0Donkor Annie Abbeyquaye\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Oluwatobiloba Joy Omotosho<\/strong>\u00a0received a diploma for the most innovative work. It should be noted that this is a new experience of participation of international students of Ternopil National Medical University in National research competitions. We hope that their successors will have the same scientific enthusiasm and will represent TNMU at similar events in the coming years.<\/p>\n

All students-researchers received certificates of participation of the final research and training conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
