On June 3-4, 2021, the International Research and Training Conference \u201cLinguistic didactics in the context of the personal paradigm\u201d was held in\u00a0I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University<\/strong>. The event was organized by the Department of the Ukrainian Language of TNMU.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Due to the quarantine, the meeting of scientists took place online.<\/p>\n

Philologists, educators, teachers of medical universities (a total of 72 participants) from different parts of Ukraine, i.e. Kyiv, Kherson, Dubno, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, as well as from Poland and the People\u2019s Republic of China, joined the event.<\/p>\n

The plenary session was held jointly with the teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages, who at the same time took part at the international conference\u00a0\u201cProfessional and communicative culture of the future doctor: linguistic, pedagogical and philosophical aspects\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Professor\u00a0Ivan Klishch<\/strong>, the Vice-Rector for Research of I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Doctor of Biology, welcomed the participants on behalf of the university administration.<\/p>\n

The conference was chaired by Professor\u00a0Anatolii Vykhrushch<\/strong>, the Head of the Department of the Ukrainian Language of I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Doctor of Pedagogy, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The plenary session was started with the presentation of Professor\u00a0Pavlo Hrytsenko<\/strong>, Doctor of Philology, Director of the Institute of the Ukrainian Language of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which was the culmination of the conference.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The other two reports of monographs in linguodidactics on \u201cModern Ukrainian Linguistic Didactics. Norms in terminology and language practice of specialists\u201d were presented by Associate Professor\u00a0Serhiy Omelchuk<\/strong>, Doctor of Pedagogy, Full Member of the Ukrainian Academy of Acmeology, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, First Vice-Rector of Kherson State University, Professor of the Oleh Mishukov Department of Slavic Philology and World Literature.<\/p>\n

Associate Professor\u00a0Olha Petryshyna<\/strong>, the Head of the Department of the Ukrainian Language and Teaching Methods of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University expanded on the prospects for the development of contemporary linguodidactics with the monograph \u201cStrategic Professor V.Ya.\u00a0Melnychaiko.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Professor\u00a0Liubov Struhanets<\/strong>, Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of the Ukrainian Language and Teaching Methods of Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, presented a report on \u201cImproving the language and communication competence of university students in distance learning\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Associate Professor\u00a0Maria Tyshkovets<\/strong>\u00a0offered the participants textbooks and manuals on the Ukrainian language as a foreign language for medical students, published by the staff of the Department of the Ukrainian Language of TNMU.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Associate Professor\u00a0Liudmyla Sheremeta<\/strong>, Associate Professor of the Department of the Ukrainian Language of I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University presented the pages of the history of Ukrainian linguodidactics in the report \u201cLinguodidactical heritage of O.M. Biliaiev \u2013 an inexhaustible source of development of pedagogical thought\u201d.<\/p>\n

The report by Associate Professor\u00a0Olha Khrystenko<\/strong>, the Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Education Pedagogy and Social Sciencesof I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University on \u201cUkrainian language as a value in the worldview of modern students\u201d triggered a lively discussion.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The report by Professor\u00a0Anatolii Vykhrushch<\/strong>\u00a0on \u201cUkrainian language for professional purposes: personal dimension\u201d was really interesting for the participants of the conference.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Besides the plenary sessions, four sections were held during the two days of the conference. The heads of the sections: Associate Professors Ihor Havryshchak, Volodymyr Yukalo, Iryna Zalipska, Kateryna Stefanyshyn, noted that the reports outlined the topical issues of linguodidactics research: language in the system of students values; communicative competence of medical university students; linguodidactics in a multicultural environment; regularities of successful study of foreign languages \u200b\u200bin educational institutions of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

At the end of the International Research and Training Conference \u201cLinguistic didactics in the context of the personal paradigm\u201d Professor\u00a0Anatolii Vykhrushch<\/strong>\u00a0summed up the work of plenary and sectional meetings, expressed thanks the university management, L.V. Lohin, the Deputy Rector for Publishing, as well as to all speakers and participants of the scientific event.<\/p>\n

Based on the materials of the International Research and Training Conference \u201cLinguistic didactics in the context of the personal paradigm\u201d \u00a0a conference proceedings were published.<\/p>\n
