Recently, the State Service for Education Quality of Ukraine published an open list of institutions of higher education according to the degree of risk from activities in higher education (https:\/\/osvita.ua\/vnz\/76878\/). This rate is determined by the criteria \u2013 the number of students over the past three years, the number of research and teaching staff, publication of statutory documents and information on the website, the number of violations of legislation in higher education. In addition, the presence of separate structural units, the presence of foreign students and the share of non-accredited specialties and educational programs are taken into account.<\/p>\n

In total, the State Service evaluated 307 institutions of higher education in Ukraine. 74 (24%) of them are of a high risk, 213 (69%) \u2013 medium, 20 (7%) \u2013 low.<\/p>\n

Ternopil National Medical University is an institution of higher education with the lowest risk, which indicates a high quality educational services and internal quality control of education. This is the only medical university in Ukraine, which was included in the list of institutions of higher education with the lowest risk rate.<\/p>\n

The rating of institutions of higher education according to the degree of risk is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers No.982, dated November 21, 2018 and aims at ensuring optimal control of the State Education Quality Service regarding those of high risk.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe evaluation and publication of open rankings of the institutions of higher education by degree of risk allows paying attention to factors that increase the risk of educational affairs, as well as correcting the mistakes\u201d, the State Service for Education Quality announced.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
