On September 23-24, 2020, the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0International Research and Training Conference \u201cScientific and Technological Progress and Optimization of Technological Processes for Creation of Drugs\u201d was held in Ternopil National Medical University. The conference was organized by teachers of the Department of Pharmacy Management, Economics and Technology and the Department of Pharmacy of the Academic and Research Institute of Postgraduate Education. The scientific forum was held online in the Microsoft Teams platform.<\/p>\n

The field experts took part in the conference \u2013 researchers and practitioners from Ukraine, Brazil, Poland, Portugal, Uzbekistan. The event takes place every two years and the number of participants is increasing constantly. The globalization of science and the unification of scientists of different fields to solve the problem are obvious. The researchers from 40 institutions of different countries reported on their research work, successes and achievements:<\/p>\n

\u2013 medical schools in Warsaw, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Lutsk, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Tashkent, Ternopil;<\/p>\n

\u2013 classical and polytechnic universities: Lviv Polytechnic National University, T. Shevchenko Kyiv National University, I. Franko Lviv National University, Odessa National Polytechnic University, Yu. Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, I. Franko Zhytomyr State University, Lesia Ukrainka East European National University, Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, V. Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University, Rivne State University of Humanities, L.\u00a0Lytvynenko Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: two federal universities of Brazil: Brazil Mato Grosso do Sul and the state of Par\u00e1, the University of Tras du Montish and Alto Douro in Portugal;<\/p>\n

\u2013 specialized research institutions: State Research Centre for Medicines and Medical Products, National Research Centre \u201cInstitute of Experimental and Clinical Veterinary Medicine\u201d, Institute of Animal Biology of the NAAS, V. Yuriev Institute of Plant Breeding of the NAAS, Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeia Centre for Drug Quality, State Research Control Institute of Veterinary Drugs and Feed Additives;<\/p>\n

\u2013 medical institutions and pharmaceutical enterprises of Lviv, Ternopil, Kyiv, Kharkiv.<\/p>\n

About 30 reports in pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical analysis, phytochemistry, pharmacology, commodity analysis, pharmaceutical marketing, pharmacoeconomic analysis, pharmaceutical care, evaluation of medical technology etc. were presented during the conference.<\/p>\n

Students, PhD students and doctoral students from various educational and research institutions also presented the results of their research.<\/p>\n
