Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University staff, Assistant of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology\u00a0<strong>Uliana Ilnytska<\/strong>\u00a0and postgraduate student of the Department of Pathological Physiology\u00a0<strong>Olha Kostiuk<\/strong>\u00a0are also fighting epidemic in Ukraine. They investigate the presence of coronavirus infection in patients using the polymerase-chain reaction method. The former are used only in specialized laboratories. The material is taken from the throat or nose. Express tests can be done by any hospital.
