At the end of November 2019, students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University became the initiators and organizers of the Vienna Ball in Ternopil. The organizing committee included Yaryna Stepaniuk, Anastasia Boiko, Tetiana Stepaniuk, Yulia Valihura, Yana Chaika, Natalia and Maria Kasian. During this event, our students raised almost 50,000 hryvnias.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe donated 34,000 to the treatment of 18-year-old Oleh Halas from Ternopil, who has Hodgkin\u2019s lymphoma. Initially we planned to donate funds to the pediatric hematology department, but fortunately, at that moment there was no child in need of help, so we bought a medical gurney for the department for 14 thousand. I found out about Oleh\u2019s problem on the Internet. He has been ill for a second year and has a relapse. In January, the third course of chemotherapy will take place on holidays, and then he will have a bone marrow transplant. The mother of the young man was extremely pleased with our help \u201d, \u2013 Yaryna Stepaniuk.<\/p>\n
