<\/a><\/p>\nFor more than twenty years, world scout organizations, as well as the members of the Ukrainian National Scout Organization \u201cPlast\u201d, have been spreading the Peace Light of Bethlehem that is constantly burning in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. This fire is a reminder of the Savior\u2019s coming to earth. At the end of November, a fire from Bethlehem is brought to Austria by Scouts in a special container, and from Vienna it travels from hand to hand with the help of the so-called \u201cScout Relay\u201d across Europe. It is transmitted from city to city, passed to churches, public institutions. With the Light of Bethlehem, people can light candles at home for the Holy Supper. In addition, it is brought to orphanages, hospitals, so that those who are far from their families can feel the warmth of the star of Bethlehem. Traditionally, the Light is kept burning at churches until January 19. Then it can be snuffed out.<\/p>\n
TNMU Rector, on behalf of the entire staff of the University, thanked Plast scouts for this action.
