On September 26-27, 2019 at\u00a0Ternopil National Medical University<\/strong>\u00a0and with the support of the Healthcare Administration of Ternopil Regional State Administration, an All-Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Conference \u201cActual problems of pharmacology and pharmacotherapy\u201d was held. More than 300 specialists in the field of medicine and pharmacy took part in the event: doctors practicing in medical-preventive institutions of Ternopil and Ternopil region, TNMU research and teaching staff, guests from Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv.<\/p>\n

The conference was opened by the Rector of the I.\u00a0Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, Professor\u00a0Mykhaylo Korda<\/strong>. Director of the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine\u00a0Tetiana Dumenko<\/strong>\u00a0noted that it is always a pleasure for her as a graduate to return to her native walls. The main specialist of the Health Care Department of Ternopil Regional State Administration\u00a0Mariia Selska<\/strong>\u00a0conveyed greetings and wishes of fruitful work from. Deputy Director for Development of the Ukrainian Scientific Pharmacopoeia Center of Medicinal Products Quality\u00a0Zuhra Rudyk<\/strong>\u00a0congratulated all participants of the conference.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of the conference, on the first day, two section sessions were held: \u201cRational Pharmacotherapy\u201d and \u201cExperimental Pharmacology\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the section \u201cRational pharmacotherapy\u201d, chaired by Professor Volodymyr Shmanko and Associate Professor Larysa Martyniuk, the reports were delivered by Professor\u00a0Oksana Boiarchuk<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cRational antibiotic therapy of respiratory pathology in pediatric patients\u201d),\u00a0Volodymyr Shmanko<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cPharmacotherapy of somatopsychic disorders in the internal diseases clinic\u201d), Associate Professor\u00a0Larysa Martyniuk<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cModern approaches to the treatment of type 2 diabetes\u201d), Associate Professor\u00a0Tamara Datsko<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cThe possibility of using an immunohistochemical study to diagnose breast cancer\u201d), Assistant Professors\u00a0Victoria Slyva<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cContent of essential microelements in the serum of young children with recurrent obstructive bronchitis\u201d),\u00a0Tetiana Boiko<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cFeatures of complex therapy of patients with alcoholic hepatitis with the inclusion of heptral (adenomethion)\u201d).<\/p>\n

In the section \u201cExperimental Pharmacology\u201d, chaired by Professor Lidiia Sheremeta and Professor Nataliia Voloshchuk, the reports were delivered by Associate Professor\u00a0Oksana Shevchuk<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cPossibilities of enterosorption for reduction of sde effects of antineoplastic medicines\u201d), Assistant\u00a0Halyna Loi<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cMetformin prevents ischemia-reperfusion-based cardiac remodeling\u201d), Associate Professor\u00a0Mariia Shanaida<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cDetermination of biological activity and quality indicators of medicinal herbal products based on raw materials of the lLamiaceae family\u201d), Assistant\u00a0Anastasiia Dub<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cInvestigation of the specific effect of a new phytocomposition on experimental metabolic syndrome\u201d), Assistant\u00a0Bohdana Pavliuk<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cDevelopment and research of a medical\u00a0\/ hemostatic sponge \u201d, major researcher. On September 27, 2019, a workshop \u201cGood Clinical Practice (GCP) Legal Regulation of Clinical Trials\u201d was held, conducted by specialists and experts of State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine\u00a0Lesia Yankova<\/strong>\u00a0(Director of the Department of Materials of Preclinical and Clinical Trials Expertise) and\u00a0Serhii Rasputniak<\/strong>\u00a0(Head of the Audit Department of Laboratory and Clinical Practices) (GLP, GCP).<\/p>\n
