A meeting with the representatives of the publishing house \u201cNova Knyha\u201d took place at the Ukrainian Language Department of\u00a0Ternopil National Medical University<\/strong>.\u00a0Kateryna Levytska<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Maria Sakharova<\/strong>\u00a0discussed the possibilities of using the products of the publishing house in effective teaching and learning.<\/p>\n

The head of the department Professor\u00a0Anatolii Vykhrushch<\/strong>\u00a0drew attention to the importance of didactic films, workshops in teaching international students, as well as the specificity of studying the Ukrainian language by foreigners.<\/p>\n

Particular interest was aroused by the teaching aids prepared by the teachers of the Department, in particular, the textbook \u201cUkrainian as a Foreign Language\u201d. In 2018, the teaching staff of the Ukrainian Language Department (Havryshchak\u00a0I.\u00a0I., Drach\u00a0I.\u00a0D., Zevako\u00a0V.\u00a0I., Melnyk\u00a0T.\u00a0P., Novitska\u00a0O.\u00a0I., Stefanyshyn\u00a0K.\u00a0L., Sheremeta\u00a0L.\u00a0P.), generalizing their own experience of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language, as well as analyzing the main trends of modern linguistics, offered a new textbook on Ukrainian as a foreign language.<\/p>\n

The textbook \u201cUkrainian as a Foreign Language\u201d helps students to master basic graphic skills, learn the most important orthoepic, lexical and grammatical norms of the Ukrainian literary language, memorize basic speech formulas and syntactic structures to express the main ideas and emotions in the foreign communicative environment. This textbook was presented at the Seminar \u201cActual problems of the organization of teaching Ukrainian (Russian) as a foreign language\u201d at Zaporizhzhia State Medical University on May 27-28, 2019.<\/p>\n

A new textbook \u201cUkrainian for international medical students\u201d, prepared by the teachers of the Ukrainian Language Department (Havryshchak I.\u00a0I., Drach I.\u00a0D., Zalipska\u00a0I.\u00a0Ya., Zevako\u00a0V.\u00a0I., Melnyk\u00a0T.\u00a0P., Mysyk\u00a0O.\u00a0A., Novitska O.\u00a0I., Stefanyshyn K.\u00a0L., Rudenko\u00a0M.\u00a0I., Tyshkovets\u00a0M.\u00a0P., Sheremeta\u00a0L.\u00a0P.), will soon be published. The book will become a logical continuation of the textbook \u201cUkrainian as a Foreign Language\u201d, but will mainly focus on the materials related to the student\u2019s future profession.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
