As part of the collaboration with the Association for Regional Cooperation in the fields of Health, Science and Technology (RECOOP HST Association) and with the support of its President Dr. Sandor G. Vari, MD, Professor Shubhada Bopegamage, MSc., Ph.D., RNDr., Head of the Institute of Microbiology (Slovak Medical University) visited Ternopil National Medical University.<\/p>\n

Professor Shubhada Bopegamage is also the Head of the National Reference Centers for Enterovirus and Cell Culture Identification in Bratislava. On December 17, 2019, she met with TNMU Rector, Professor Mykhaylo Korda. At the meeting, both sides discussed possible areas for cooperation between the universities.<\/p>\n

Professor Shubhada Bopegamage visited the research laboratories of the University (laboratories of immunohistochemistry, electron microscopy, microbiological and parasitological studies, center for Lyme borreliosis research, cell culture department), anatomical museum, center for simulation training.<\/p>\n
