Administration and staff of Ternopil State Medical University are deeply saddened on the news of the untimely passing of Professor Joseph Berger. We had an honor to know Professor Berger, Rector of the Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biala Podlaska (Poland), as a true friend and reliable partner of TSMU and its Honorary Professor.<\/p>\n

We bow our heads in grief together with the family, friends and colleagues of Professor Berger. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your loved one. He will be truly missed.<\/p>\n

He was a dedicated teacher, talented leader and politician.
