On 20-22 April Uzhgorod National University Faculty of Dentistry hosted the VI International students and young scientists conference Current issues of research and practical dentistry. International lecture cycle as well as a presentation of new developments in modern dentistry were held during the conference.<\/p>\n

The lecture cycle was presented by leading scientists of Ukraine and Slovakia, in particular President of Dental Association of Ukraine Iryna Mazur, president of Forensic Dentistry Association Evhene Kostenko, professor of NGO \u201cAcademy Ko\u0161ice\u201d (Slovakia) Andrii Yencha. Assistant professor of preventive dentistry of Ternopil State Medical University Natalia Hasyuk presented her findings on the diagnosis and treatment of dermatoses with autoimmune component.<\/p>\n

Conference of students and young scientists took place on the last day of the international symposium. 28 young scientists from ten universities of Ukraine presented results of their work.<\/p>\n

Solomia Markevich, third year student of TSMU Faculty of Dentistry was awarded the first prize in the section \u201cTreatment dentistry\u201d.<\/p>\n

The delegation from our university consisted of 18 4th<\/sup>\u00a0and 5th<\/sup>\u00a0year students. They not only listened to lectures and took part in practical workshops but had an opportunity to network with other students and senior colleagues.<\/p>\n
