On June 23-24 department of Ukrainian Language of Ternopil State Medical University held the second regional scientific conference dedicated to the crucial issues of Ukrainian language operation in professional synchronic and diachronic phases. Presenting at the conference were scientists from Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rig, Poltava, Kherson, and Sumy.<\/p>\n

The conference was chaired by the Head of the department of Ukrainian language, associate professor Mariya Tyshkovets.<\/p>\n

The participants were greeted by the director of Ternopil State Medical University research institute of pathological processes simulation and analysis, Associate Professor of the department of Medical Physics, Diagnostic and Treatment Equipment Valeriy Didukh.<\/p>\n

Associate Professor of the department of Ukrainian language Volodymyr Yukalo opened the conference with his presentation \u201cTwo codification systems of \u00a0medical professional language\u201d.<\/p>\n

The importance of developing communication skills for students of institutions of higher education talked Associate Professor of the department of Foreign Languages Ivanna vorona.<\/p>\n

Lecturer of the department of Ukrainian language Igor Havryschak presented a talk \u201cDidactic biological and medical poem On Properties of Herbs by Otto of Mainz, its subject and themes \u201c.<\/p>\n

The subject of a presentation by the assistant professor of Ukrainian language Mariya Tyshkovets, were the names of contacts in in hand-held devices as a reflection of language practice of medical students.<\/p>\n

Assistant professor of the department of Ukrainian language Tetiana Melnyk\u00a0 spoke about the issue of medical introductives in the lexicographical practice of 1920 -30s.<\/p>\n

Analysis of folk names for pneumonia in dialects of Pidhayechcia district of in Ternopil region was presented by Associate Professor of Ukrainian Oksana Novitska.<\/p>\n

Conference participants noted the importance of Ukrainian language in professional activity of specialists in various fields and adopted a resolution.<\/p>\n
