Fourth year students of the Faculty of Medicine of Ternopil State Medical University Yana-Maria Yashchyshyn and Viktoria Sysiuk represented our university at the International Research and Training Conference for Students and Young Scientists \u201cDeveloping Citizenship at Student Government\u201d, which was recently held in Bukovinian State Medical University.<\/p>\n

This forum brought together more than 400 talented students from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Germany and Poland. Conference participants received certificates and books of abstracts. Students exerted every effort to reveal the essence on their subject, to make their presentations interesting and informative and share with the audience the results of their research.<\/p>\n

Our students presented voluntary service of TSMU, which was considered to be the best in Ukraine. The girls received First Class Honours and cooperation offers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Director of the Educational Work and Cultural Development Centre Olga Yaremchuk and the Head of the Voluntary Service of the University Ivanna Kernychna were our supervisors in the preparation of the report. We presented Ternopil State Medical University voluntary service, which was carried out during the last year. We expanded in details about each event, how we involved teachers and students. Our report received many questions and positive feedback. There is no such an active voluntary service at any university of Ukraine. We immediately received many offers of cooperation in joint events,\u201d Yana-Maria Yashchyshyn said.<\/p>\n

Viktoria Sysiuk added that the representatives of Bukovinian State Medical University suggested us to share with them information on TSMU events. \u201cTeachers and students offered us to join our efforts in preparing the events to pay more attention of society on current topical issues. Dnipropetrovsk Medical University invited to participate in the event on March 24 on the Day of fighting with epilepsy. We will certainly take part in it. It will be held as a flashmob at the Theatre Square,\u201d the student said.<\/p>\n
