The cooperation takes place as a part of EU research projects between scientists from the Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Biala Podlaska, Poland and I.Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University.<\/p>\n

\u0421linical and laboratory investigations for Lyme disease agent in woodmen and hunters of Ternopil region is the main directions of the project cooperation.<\/p>\n

The researchers of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology, Dermatology and Venereology of I.Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University together with colleagues from Poland have developed a standardized questionnaire survey to study the epidemiology, clinical manifestations and methods for prevention of borreliosis in woodmen and hunters of Ternopil region and Lublin province of Poland.<\/p>\n

The rising dermatologists-interns of the Ternopil Regional Clinical STD clinic, Pryshliak Iryna, Olha Pryshliak, Iryna Zaborna, Viktoria Nakutna, Kateryna Yavorska participanted in the project.<\/p>\n

The blood tests for laboratory investigations on borreliosis pathogen in woodmen of Ternopil region were made together with the questionnaire survey.<\/p>\n
