Recently the Department of Physical Rehabilitation, Human Health and Physical Education arranged mass sporting event Health Day for the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Human Health speciality, of Ternopil State Medical University. More than 50 1st<\/sup>-4th<\/sup>\u00a0year intended doctors took part in it.<\/p>\n

To involve the students into sports and recreational activities, to promote healthy lifestyle and premedical assistance training in real-world contexts were the aim of the event. Students and teachers hold sticks with each other in a few challenges. They demonstrated the ability to determine the state of injured, to make stretcher using anything at hand and carry the injured to the medical care site. Transportation distance was 400 meters with a 3,5-10 meters elevation. The participants also competed to make a fire faster and better and to cook a tasty porridge.<\/p>\n

In general, Health Day was filled up with a friendly atmosphere and the participants were under positive impressions.<\/p>\n
