Mobile Clinic of the International Charity Fund Gift of Life consists of two lately equipped buses. One of them is pediatric and the other one is dental. Highly skilled doctors work there and they have everything necessary for proper diagnostics. The doctors do electrocardiogram, spirometry for lungs investigation, urine analysis, find hemoglobin and glucose levels, vision and hear rate. Dentistry facilities are also available. All services are free of charge. Each bus is computerized and electronic registration of patients is held. Charity project aims to help children deprived of parental care, disadvantaged children, who are particularly in need of care and attention.<\/p>\n

Ternopil State Medical University collaborates with the International Charity Fund Gift of Life to help in the examination and treatment of young patients. On June 30 the Rector of TSMU Professor Mykhailo Korda met with representatives of the Fund: the director Nicholas Laper, administrative manager Kerry Laper, head physitian of the fund clinic Larysa Chorna and manager and interpreter Nadia Hodzinska. The Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs Professor Stepan Zaporozhan and Asoociated Professor of the Department of Children\u2019s Diseases and Pediatric Surgery Tamara Vorontsova took part in the meeting. It was decided to visit schools for medical examinations and providing professional assistance to children, jointly with the Gift of Life and the doctors of the Department of Children\u2019s Diseases Pediatric Surgery.<\/p>\n

Recently, the representatives of TSMU visited the sanatorium orphanage in the village Hrymailiv of Husiatyn district. Its director Vasylii Osidak told that the gastroenterological orphanage. More than a hundred children aged from three to eighteen years who suffer from various diseases of digestive system live and study there. They all need more doctors\u2019 assistance.<\/p>\n

Last week, doctors of the Mobile Clinic of the Gift of Life ICF examined young patients and made a list of those who should undergo further examination. The doctors of various clinical departments of TSMU came to the orphanage to complete the examination. The group of experts was chaired by the Associated Professor of the Department of Children\u2019s Diseases and Pediatric Surgery Tamara Vorontsova. It consisted of Associated Professors of this department Liubov Volianska, Tetiana Kosovska, Ihor Krytskyi, the resident physician of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Nelia Yavorska, the PhD student of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery Maxym Gerasymiuk and the Assistant of this department Tetiana Romaniuk.<\/p>\n

The children are not deprived of attention by the orphanage staff, but communication with new people is also very important for them, moreover with doctors who know everything about their health.<\/p>\n
